Sam Finney is a West Point graduate, Army veteran, and former Ranger Instructor who spent his military career doing one: preparing people for high-stakes situations where the margin for error is zero. He brings that same standard to every loan he closes.

During his time on active duty, Sam built a real estate portfolio of his own, not as a side hobby, but as a deliberate strategy to create financial independence for his family. That experience shapes how he works with clients today. He doesn’t just process loans. He helps military families understand what they’re building and why it matters.

Now based in Savannah, Georgia and personally licensed in 22 states and the District of Columbia, Sam specializes exclusively in VA loans — working with active duty service members, veterans, and surviving spouses across the country. His clients range from first-time buyers near active installations to veterans using their benefit for the second or third time on up to and over million dollar properties.

Sam is married to Kate and is the father of four. When he’s not working, he’s coaching lacrosse, chasing his kids, and looking for the next thing worth building.
